The Curry County Sheriff’s Office, along with numerous sponsors, is conducting the Designated Driver Program for the seasonal holidays.
This program is designed to curb drinking and driving by rewarding designated drivers with gift bags containing items provided by the sponsors.
Participating licensed liquor establishments will identify volunteer designated drivers and provide them with the bundle of incentive items.
After signing a pledge, the designated driver will receive a gift bag containing sodas, snacks, clothing apparel and other miscellaneous giveaways. At the conclusion of this year’s program, a drawing will be conducted for an iPad.
This program will continue through Super Bowl weekend.
